Page numbers look simple until you need "Page 1 of 20" on the bottom-right of everything except the cover. Page Numbers handles all of it.

Options

  • **Format** — 1, 2, 3 / Page 1 / Page 1 of 20 / i, ii, iii
  • **Font** — any system font, plus Georgia, Helvetica, Times
  • **Size** — 8pt to 24pt
  • **Position** — 6 positions (top/bottom × left/center/right)
  • **Margin** — pixel-precise offset
  • **Start from** — begin numbering at any page
  • **Skip pages** — exclude cover, TOC, etc.

Common configurations

**Books/manuscripts** — bottom-center, "Page X of Y", skip page 1. **Legal documents** — bottom-right, plain number. **Manuals** — bottom-center, "X / Y". **Thesis** — bottom-center, Roman for intro, Arabic for body.

Output

Page numbers are stamped as vector text — copyable, searchable, no quality loss.
